Vervloet, Daniela ; Hrnčířová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Gielen, Albertus Josephus Dominicus (referee)
(English) The aim of the thesis is ascertain and determine the level of equivalent Dutch somatic phrase units and Czech counterparts. At first the theoretical part is generally focused on a theory of phrasal idioms, the next part is dealing with phraseology such as a linguistic discipline. A following part of the thesis includes a theoretical base for dealing with an analytical part of the work which is focused on a term of equivalent. In the analytical part is used method of German linguistic Otto Kade on its base are 62 somatic phrase units with component "hand" divided into three categories. Van Dale Idioomwoordenboek (1999) is used such as primary source for a selection of phrase units which are divided according to the level of equivalence: a) full equivalent phrasal idioms, b) partly equivalent phrasal idioms c) phrasal idioms without equivalent. The result of the survey indicates a high level of a semantic equivalency, some of partial variations and concordance in a level of a structural equivalency.
French idioms containing names of animals and their Czech equivalents
SYNKOVÁ, Monika
This bachelor thesis deals with French idioms containing the names of animals. The work is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, the term "idiomatic expression" is defined. Afterwards, this first part focuses on the classification of idioms, on their inner structure, on the function of idioms and on the possibilities of their translation. In the second part of this work, firstly the selected sample of idioms is analysed according to their inner structure. Then follows the main part of this bachelor thesis, the translatological analysis of the selected sample of idioms. At last, this work outlines the possibilities of inner transformation and the syntactic manipulation. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to observe the level of equivalence when translating idioms and to outline the possibilities of translation of the idiomatic expressions from French to Czech.

ŠTIKAROVÁ, Pavla
The subject of this thesis is to investigate the Italian names of colours, placing them into context and issue of translation of the names of colours into Czech. The thesis has two parts. In the practical part we will then get through five subdivisions to the terms from the area of biology (the names of plants and animals), in which there occurs any of Italian names of colours then we get to idiomatic expressions, uniting with the verb, comparison and collocation, in which there also occur terms indicating colours. In all of these five areas, we analyse similarity between the two languages by using analogous databases in Czech language and translation into Czech language. The aim of this thesis is delimitation of colour terms in the Italian language, their definition, putting into context, confrontation of loose and established closer links and also their comparison with Czech.
